The short version: The numbers you type into our mortgage calculator are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to our servers, never stored, and never shared with anyone. We are not a lender and have no interest in your financial data.

Your mortgage numbers never leave your device. All calculations — home price, down payment, interest rate, property tax, insurance, PMI, HOA fees — are performed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. None of this data is transmitted to our servers.

When you click Calculate, the numbers you entered are used locally by your browser to produce results. When you close or refresh the page, those numbers are gone. We have no record of what you entered, what results you saw, or what loan scenarios you explored.

If you use the Print Receipt feature, the PDF or printout is generated entirely on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers during that process either.

Cookies and Analytics

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser by a website. We use a minimal number of cookies to operate the site:

Strictly necessary cookies: These are set by our hosting infrastructure to maintain basic site functionality. They do not track you across websites and contain no personally identifiable information. You cannot opt out of these without disabling the site entirely.

Hosting provider: Our website is hosted on a third-party hosting provider which maintains standard server logs for security and operational purposes.

We do not integrate Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, any affiliate tracking networks, mortgage lead generation services, or any third-party that would receive your calculator inputs or personal information. We earn no referral fees from lenders.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults who are considering purchasing a home or researching mortgage options. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information on this site, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove that information.

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. Because we collect only minimal technical data and do not sell personal information, the following applies:

  • Right to know: You have the right to request disclosure of what personal information we collect. As described above, we collect only standard technical server log data and no personally identifiable financial information.
  • Right to delete: You may request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Given that we do not collect personally identifiable data, there is typically nothing to delete.
